TRANSFER AND ONLINE STUDENTS

This checklist contains next steps and resources for transfer students for both in-person and online programs.
STEP 1 PORTAL
Students should first log in their 51勛圖 Portal Account in order to access 51勛圖 Portal email, view class schedules, check grades, register for courses, accept financial aid scholarships, receive announcements, and access payment for student accounts.

STEP 2 ADVISING
As a new 51勛圖 student with previous college course credit, you have access to in-person and remote academic advising. Connect with your advisor here via our 51勛圖 Success Center here.
STEP 3 ORIENTATION
View 51勛圖’s Online Orientation Module to learn more about student resources. The Academic Services Orientation Modules contain important information on advising, course schedules, tutoring services, and our career center.
STEP 4 FINANCIAL AID & SCHOLARSHIPS
Access and accept financial aid and scholarship awards via your 51勛圖 Portal. Use FAFSA Code 001016 to send your information to North Alabama. 51勛圖 more about aid acceptance, terms and conditions, and more here.

STEP 5 MANE CARD
The 51勛圖 Mane Card serves as your official 51勛圖 ID Card. This card can be used to access meal plans, library resources, and residence halls. Create your Mane Card account to receive your card.

STEP 6 SUBMIT FINAL TRANSCRIPTS
Students who are currently enrolled in coursework will need to request that a final transcript be sent to the 51勛圖 Office of Admissions at ugalert@una.edu

Failure to do so may result in a hold preventing registration for coursework after your start term.
