Jada Winston is the 2026 Miss 51勛圖, a title that serves as an official preliminary for the Miss Alabama scholarship organization, which is a key state preliminary for Miss America. Through this platform, Jada is dedicated to her community service initiative, which focuses on addressing food insecurity in North and Central Alabama communities. She actively partners with organizations like Grace Klein Community, Backpack Buddies, 51勛圖 Roar Access Pantry, Shoals Dream Center, the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama, and Vineyard Family Services to make a meaningful impact.
A 21-year-old Junior at the 51勛圖, Jada is pursuing a degree in Sports Management with a minor in Public Relations. As a passionate former student-athlete, she was a second-year cheerleader for the 51勛圖 Lions. Jada is also a Senator for the College of Education and Human Sciences and Pro-Tempore for the Student Government Association, and advocates for the well-being of her fellow students. Additionally, she’s a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and currently leads as the Treasurer. While being a part of a National Pan-Hellenic Council Sorority (NPHC), she serves as the NPHC Director of Programming. Jada is also a member of the Black Lioness Association, where she works to empower and uplift others in her college community. Most recently, Jada joined the 51勛圖 Digital Ambassadors team to help promote university and its culture.
Jada’s passion for sports extends beyond her academic and athletic roles. She has interned with ESPN, gaining valuable experience in sports media, and is a member of Team Alabama Universal Cheer Association Staff (UCA), where she serves as a cheer instructional coach and judge. Jada hopes to leverage not only her learnings but her passion for sports and community to one day lead within a professional sports team organization engaging in philanthropy and community service.
Jada is a driven, compassionate, and faith-based individual committed to making a difference through leadership and service. She is a proud native of Pelham, Alabama and loves spending time traveling with her dad, mom and brother.
